Yesterday we went CQ for drinking and headed to Zirca (which I seriously don’t fancy because the crowd is so young & there’s really no sense of belonging) since it’s near. It was not my first time in the clubbing scene though I’ve been out of it for the longest time ever. Yes. I no longer enjoy clubbing like I used to when I was still the same age as those in Zirca. BUT! I bet this young boi who tried to hit on me yesterday was the most aggressive ever. So aggressive that I felt abit traumatised!
Ya…I think he should get himself this t-shirt. He’s seriously handicapped.

For the first time, my heart skipped a beat for once and that was really quite an experience. In fact, a fearful one. Now, I’ve the assurance and it feels like a weight lifted off my chest. And now, I know life is precious, life is short. You’ll never know what will happen next and so, treasure life and live it to the fullest!

How? I feel my work is going downhill ever since I finished my event in Nov. Yes. I whined and complained while I was at it, but I felt challenged and more excitement then. Now, I’m back to doing the same old stuffs, which leave me feeling bored and dry. I guess I’ve travelled too much last year, and now I don’t feel like staying for long in the office. Baby, is this dry spell? If it is, isn’t it abit too fast?

Welcoming 2012
2011 has passed and it’s a brand new year to start with! Looking back at the year before, it was indeed exciting and a year I’ve had my many firsts.
1) I started a new job on Jan 10. A brand new environment, culture, people, way of doing things etc. Time passed in the blink of an eye. I’m almost a year old in this company.
2) I did an event of 65 pax all by myself. It was indeed challenging but exciting. Though I complained and whined through the process, I was glad to have been put through this test to know where I stand and how much I could accomplish.
3) I travelled to a few places this year, one of which was somewhere I’ve always wanted to go - Switzerland. I count myself lucky to be given a golden opportunity like this, and for the fact that I’m less than a year old in this company.
4) My braces was finally removed, having painstakingly wearing it for I can’t recall a 2 and a half or 3 years. Now, I’ve a straight set of teeth which I can proudly show in front of the camera and anyone!
2010 was a down year for me and I’m glad things went back on track, in fact better than what I’ve expected in 2011. I’ve a generally nice boss who gives me freedom in my work, a nice environment to work in, a nearby workplace which I could be sent to and from work (saving me transportation cost which can amount to alot I’m sure) and many more.
I’m not greedy. I just hope that 2012will be as good as 2011. If it’s better, that’s a bonus! ;)
